Kelsi is the passionate breeder behind KM Korean Toy Poodles, raising beautifully socialized, health-tested toy poodles with the love and care that shows in every carefully planned litter.

She had a vision for her online presence and needed the right words, the right look, and the confidence to own it herself.

Kelsi needed more than just a website. She wanted a home on the internet that reflected her genuine love for her dogs and helped prospective puppy families feel connected before they ever reached out.

She also wanted to be hands-on with her site — not dependent on a developer every time she needed to make a change.

I came alongside Kelsi for the full journey — from blank page to live site. Here's what I did:

Copywriting — I wrote all the website copy, crafting a warm, trustworthy voice that speaks directly to families searching for their perfect poodle companion.

Web Design — With my team, I designed the site with a clean, inviting aesthetic that puts Kelsi's dogs front and center.

WordPress Setup — Working hands-on with Kelsi to get WordPress up and running on her own domain and hosting, so she left the project feeling empowered and in control of her own little corner of the web.

A Little About the Work

This was the first time I'd worked with a dog breeder from concept to finished website, but this type of project — for a passionate animal lover — is one of my favorites. People who lead with their hearts deserve copy and visual design that reflects it. So the words I use matter more than the website's visual design, but neither really works without the other. For heart-centered dog breeders like Kelsi, the site absolutely must make a future puppy family feel like they've already found their people. That's what I set out to create for Kelsi, and getting to see her confidently manage her own WordPress site at the end of it all while it introduces new families to her wonderful dogs is worth every minute.
