"Why should I hire you when I can have AI write the same stuff for free?"

AI’s getting a lot of attention these days, whether it’s a writer who was falsely accused of using it to generate content or how much time it can save.

First—it isn’t much of a time saver. The copy it generates is weak and repetitive, requiring heavy edits to make it sound half-way decent. It’s faster to write it myself.

Second—Most of my writing is specialized for the industry, using the most recent research available. AI only has access to 2-year-old data.

Third—AI repeatedly “hallucinates facts” as one of my clients puts it. It will take a legit study and a legit chapter from a book and combine the two into something with so many logical fallacies that you can’t use it.

AI can be a fabulous tool, like a hammer. It can be helpful when used properly, but it cannot do the job for you. A human who knows what they’re doing must still get their hands on it.

Why would you insult your customers by sending something written by a machine?

Remember, people buy from people they know, like, and trust.
